This tailgut is made of 100 % pure braided  Kevlar. It improves the sound and response on most instruments due to better vibration and is  guaranteed not to stretch after fitting.  You have to tie it with a Fisherman's knot.  



3 models are available : 

  • for violin/viola : 22 cm long with a diameter of 1,5 to 2 mm 
  • for cello : 40 cm long with a diameter of 2 to 2,5 mm 
  • for double bass : 65 cm long with a diameter of 2,5 to 3 mm
