How do I track my order ?

With the confirmation of shipment of your order, you received a tracking number (regular post shipments have no tracking number).
Copy and paste that tracking code on our web site, you'll find our tracking tool on each page in the right column.
If you did not get any shipping confirmation, you might have a problem receiving our Emails or your Email address in our database is wrong.
In that case, you can always see a copy of each sent Email on your personal account page :

Log with your Email address and password.
You order appears in the Previous Orders section.

When will my backorder arrive ?

All not available items on our web site have either a date of availability or a "contact us" link.
When the "Contact Us" link appears, it means we don't have any precise date of availability yet.
If you order a product witch is not available on stock, we will keep you posted per Email if there is any change in the date of availability.
If a product has to arrive later that the announced date when you placed your order, we will offer you to buy an other product if possible (all extra charges at our expense) or cancel your order.
In any case, it's always best to contact us per Email to get more details about back orders.

If you just want to be noticed when a product is back on stock, just go on the product page on our web site, you can leave your Email address next to the product date of availability, once the product is back in stock, you'll receive a notice per Email.

How do I cancel my order/item ?

Just send us an Email including your order number.
Please note that this is a request only. Your item may enter the shipping process before we can cancel it.
All non-shipped orders will be immediately refunded on credit card.

We recommend you to copy and paste that password to avoid any mistake.

Shipping and Delivery

An item is missing from my shipment.

First, check the invoice to make sure you don't have any remaining back orders.
If no back orders are listed on your invoice, search through the packing material in the boxes to see if they are really empty.

When will my order be shipped ?

Our company is well-knew for its fast order shipping.
All order placed before 3 pm should be processed the same day (from Monday to Saturday).
Of course if you choose a check or bank transfer payment, we will first need to receive your complete payment before shipping.

Our web site automatically computes and displays shipping charges whenever you place an item in your shopping cart.
Once you're on the "What's in my cart" page, have a look in the right column.
Even if you don't have an account with us, just select your country, postal code and click GO.
You'll see the exact simulation of the amount that would be asked during the buying process.

The delivery will depend of the final destination, size and weight of your package.

We offer a free delivery already for a minimum order of 89€ if delivery in France, Belgium or Luxembourg.
We also offer a free delivery in Germany for a minimum order of 129,- €, and for an order of 189,-€ to the United Kingdom.

What if an item is received in damaged condition?

All shipments are covered by a transport insurance.
A claim MUST be opened within 24 hours following delivery.
We recommend you to control your complete order once you are delivered.
If one or several products are damaged, we will replace the damaged items as fast as possible depending of our stock.
Of courses, all exchange expenses at our charge.

Pricing and Billing

What are my payment options ?

We offer different payment methods :

- secured credit card transactions (CB, VISA, MasterCard) : this is the most effective and fastest way to order.
Acceptance is immediate as well as the delivery of your goods.
For a delivery as soon as possible, we recommend you this method (protected payment).

- bank transfer (you ask your bank to transfer the payment from your bank account to ours) :
the bank transfer payment is an alternative to the payment by credit card.
It is rather useful for the people who do not own a credit card.
Indeed, we will send your order as soon as we act good reception on our bank account of your payment.
This tends to increase your delivery period with one week (equivalent to the transfer time of the payment on our account ).
Of course, paying per credit card is always faster (immediate shipment).

- checks (France only) :
the order is sent as reception of the check if the delivery address is identical to the address written down on the cheque.
If the delivery address is different from that the one written on the check, we will take the time to make shure that we won't meet any problem while trying to take payment with your check.

Only credit card payments will be processed immediately.
Check and bank transfer orders will be shipped as soon as payment is received.

What is the Tasset.com pricing policy ?

Tasset.com is trying to offer you the best price list on the web.
We keep comparing our own price list to the ones of other web sites to give you the best rate and quality.
If you find one of our products cheaper on an other web site, please use the I FOUND CHEAPER option available on each product page … you'll just have to send us the link with the product you found cheaper and we'll do our best to adjust our price list.
Please note that a price change can take a few weeks, as sometimes we need to negotiate with one of our distributor or find a new one.

Our price list is VAT included, no extra charge for deliveries in European Countries.
For all deliveries in countries witch are not members of Europe, a VAT tax of 21% will be removed automatically from our price list before payment.
For deliveries outside Europe, you may pay import and duty charges and taxes.

What happens if there is any pricing change after i placed an order ?

Once you place your order (no matter what payment method you choose), we can't change the price even if it goes higher.
If the price goes down, we won't either be able to change the price on your invoice.

What security level do you have for credit card payment ?

All credit card payments are handled by our Bank Credit Agricole France.
Our bank uses the 3D-SECURE online secured system, one of the latest and efficient security system on the web.

3-D Secure is an XML-based protocol used as an added layer of security for online credit and debit card transactions.
It was developed by Visa to improve the security of Internet payments and offered to customers as the Verified by Visa service.
Services based on the protocol have also been adopted by MasterCard, under the name MasterCard SecureCode.

3-D Secure adds another authentication step for online payments.
3-D Secure should not be confused with the Card Security Code which is a short numeric code that is printed on the card.

The main advantage for cardholders is that there is a decreased risk of other people being able to use their payment cards fraudulently on the Internet.

In most current implementations of 3-D Secure, the issuing bank or its ACS provider prompts the buyer for a password that is known only to the bank/ACS provider and the buyer.
Since the merchant does not know this password and is not responsible for capturing it, it can be used by the issuing bank as evidence that the purchaser is indeed their cardholder.
This decreases risk in two ways:
-Copying card details, either by writing down the numbers on the card itself or by way of modified terminals or ATMs, does not result in the ability to purchase over the Internet because of the additional password, which is not stored on or written on the card. -Since the merchant does not capture the password, there is a reduced risk from security incidents at online merchants; while an incident may still result in hackers obtaining other card details, there is no way for them to get the associated password.

In spite of the prevalence of password-based implementations, 3-D Secure does not require the use of password authentication, and it is perfectly possible to use it in conjunction with smart card readers, security tokens and the like.
These types of devices may provide a better user experience for customers as they free the purchaser from having to use a secure password.
Some issuers are now using such devices as part of the Chip Authentication Program or Dynamic Passcode Authentication schemes.

Reserve of property

We preserve the property of the goods sold until the effective payment of the entire amount.
The non-payment of an unspecified expiry can lead to claims and goods return.
This provision does not take into account the transfer to the Customer from our warehouse, of the risks of loss and deterioration of the sold goods, as of the damage which they could cause.
Pursuant to the legal provisions, the sold goods remain our property until complete payment of the price and its accessories.

Warrantee

Full 2 years warranty

The minimal warranty period on all products is 2 years (beginning at the invoicing date).
The guarantees exceeding this period are clearly indicated on the invoice concerned and are deeply related to this particular product.
Your invoice or sales ticket proves this guarantee.
Any complaint will have to handle details on the use of the article and the problem localisation.
We reserve ourselves the right, either to replace the defect article, either to repair it, or to establish a ticket equal to the invoiced price (for next purchases).

The contract guarantee is strictly limited to the replacement of the defective parts. In the case of abnormal wear related to negligence, an abnormal use or a permissive waste due to the customer, our guarantee will not work.
The replacement of the parts or the article and the execution of the guarantee do not result in to prolong the duration specified under the above conditions.
Any intervention not-in conformity with a normal use by any person not entitled by our services cancels the guarantees.

How do I find my product ?

You can navigate trough the general menu, search by brand or use the search area.
If you want to navigate, use the menu in the left column : simply slide your mouse on the categories and sub-categories you want to reach.
If you don't know in witch category the product you're searching for is, feel free to contact us (http://www.tasset.com/contact_us.php).

You can also list all the products from a specific manufacturer.
You can select a manufacturer's name in the list right above the menu, in the top position of the left column.
Just select a manufacturer to display the products of that brand.

The easiest way is still to use the "Quick Find" solution.
You'll find it in the upper left corner of our web site.
Just enter a few keywords (like "string pirastro violin" or "reed sax rico") in this section and a list of products will appear.

How do I navigate on your site ?

You can use the same method listed in the "How do I find my product" section.
Regarding products you already viewed on our web site, you can use the Back & Forward option on the top of the right column, right under your shopping card, our web site will show you the last viewed products.

Can I trust your stock levels ?

Our general stock level is updated after each sale... we have an accuracy of 99,2 % (on more of 10.000 products).
You might order more products than our stock, in that case, 3 red *** will appear in your shopping cart next to the concerned products.

How do I use a coupon ?

If you received a coupon or special offer per Email from us, it has already been activated on your account.
Go to the Log In page and log yourself with your Email address and password.
The discount or coupon will automatically be deducted before payment.
Warning : a coupon is associated to your personal account and Email address, it cannot be exchanged from an account to an other.
Every coupon has an end date, if not used, it will automatically be deleted.
The date of availability of a coupon cannot be extended.

What is the tasset.com Return Policy ?

ENTHUSIASTIC OR MONEY BACK : You have a 14 days deadline after reception of your parcel to change opinion.
If the article is not appropriate to you, you can return it and ask its refunding.
Software that are not plastic sealed anymore (Considered as installed) or consumable products witch have been played (like strings or reeds) will not be accepted in return.
