The name Green Line is also part of the concept of Hannabach newly developed environment friendly string line.  They have used many of
the finest eco friendly materials available in the manufacturing process. 

The basses are made with a newly developed copper magnesium alloy which is absolutely cadmium and nickel free and free from other harmful substances. The basses are each carefully hand machine wound and only the best are selected for your playing pleasure.  They use only the finest eco friendly organic cotton to protect the bridge of your instrument and to ensure a tight fitting string knot.

The packaging uses no plastics and is made of recycled paper. Hannabach has also reduced the number of packages which ensures less waste and smaller packaging units. The strings are packaged and dispatched using only recycled card-board and protective recyclable packaging materials.  Only environment friendly and plant based oils are used in the coloring and printing.  For each set of strings purchased, Hannabach will donate an amount to the promotion of ecological projects.
