The Bach Trumpet Mouthpiece in Silver has been the standard since being created by trumpet master Vincent Bach. This series of Bach trumpet mouthpiece is available in a variety of sizes to meet the needs of the individual player.

Mega Tone trumpet mouthpieces offer something better.  To create the Mega Tone, Selmer started with genuine Vincent Bach mouthpiece designs, then more than doubled the outside mass. This darkens the sound and allows you to play at a higher dynamic level without distortion. Mega Tone slots extremely well so pitches center dependably. A slightly larger throat affords less resistance and greater flexibility. The result is a warmer more powerful sound that's perfect in the concert hall and adds a new dimension to pop and jazz playing.Because Bach mouthpieces are the accepted standard of quality, their numbers are familiar everywhere as designations for certain models and types. Although Bach mouthpieces have often been copied, they have never been equaled for precision, tuning, and playing characteristics. Only genuine Bach mouthpieces bear the full inscription VINCENT BACH with one of the model numbers.

The Bach mouthpiece numbering system is arranged in an orderly progression from the largest to smallest diameters numbered from low to high.
